Our historic 1880s building—the former First National Bank of Richfield Springs—stands in the heart of a village surrounded by beauty + culture.

After years of neglect, our three-story, brick-veneered building has been sensitively and sustainably revitalized and reimagined to create a positive impact on our climate and downtown Richfield Springs, NY, economy. Today, our NYSERDA award-winning and Phius Design Certified mixed-use multifamily building has now opened its doors to a new generation of Otsego County residents.

Our award-winning building design by River Architects, PLLC, is focused on providing a new generation of Otsego County residents with safe, climate-resilient, healthy, and comfortable spaces in which to live, work, and play year-round for generations to come.

Utilities Included

THE BANK LOFTS is an all-electric building, with zero on-site combustion. Electric (including heat, HW, and cooling); water + sewer ; internet/Wi-Fi access; and household garbage + recyclables disposal are all covered in your rent.

On-Site Parking

Your lease provides one free parking space per unit bedroom. Our on-site parking lot, conveniently located at the rear of the building, will be fitted with four on-site EV-charging stations*, for residents with electric vehicles. (*Additional charging fees apply.)

They don’t call our part of the state “Central New York” for nothing! Downtown Richfield Springs is less than 90 minutes from Albany and Syracuse and a day-trip drive to the Finger Lakes, Saratoga, Lake George, and many New York State parks.

THE BANK LOFTS stands in the center of one of America’s first health resorts. Our walkable downtown is home to schools, churches, shops, a library, historical society, diners, village offices, and the farm markets, and gatherings held at Spring Park.

Laundry day just got more convenient—and more climate smart. Every apartment in THE BANK LOFTS has its own in-unit washer and heat-pump dryer, already installed. No more weekly jockeying for machines during prime time at the laundromat.

THE BANK LOFTS is a smoke-free property. In keeping with our multifamily building’s commitment to clean indoor air quality and focus on the health and well being of THE BANK LOFTS residents, smoking is not allowed inside or outside the building.

Surrounded by farmlands, rolling hills, and the fresh-water boating, fishing, and recreation offered by Canadarago Lake, Richfield Springs was a 19th-century magnet for city dwellers eager to escape urban stress + congestion. Many visitors choose to stay.
